Our Founder:

Melanie R. Negrin has been passionate about writing and community service since the age of 11.  Over the years, she has honed her storytelling skills - using prose, poetry, video, and theater arts - and applied them in the field of marketing - strategic platform research, consumer research, event planning, public/community relations, newsletters, fundraising, membership development, and more.  Her writing skills are complemented by high quality photography and design, talents she shares with her father and brother.

During her career, Melanie has worked alongside the leadership team of many non-profit organizations, entrepreneurial companies and larger companies, including Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Burgdorff ERA, Kraft Foods, Avery Dennison, Conagra, Cadbury Schweppes, and H.J. Heinz.  Always inspired by the ideas and challenges of others, Melanie enjoys helping her clients build sustainable businesses.

Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, Dallas, TX, and New Jersey, Melanie is proud to call herself a "true hybrid of the North and the South."

Melanie has published works in newspapers, magazines, newsletters, and on the Internet and holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and International Business from Seton Hall University and a B.A. in Communications and Psychology from The College of New Jersey.

The mother of two young children, Melanie is always looking for ways to benefit the community while spending time with her family. If you have any ideas, feel free to write her at melanie@merocune.com.
